My project is one of intersections that plays on the dichotomies between exterior and interior, soft and hard, transparent and opacified. My materials consist of softwoods that create the soft shell interior and a diamond-shaped semi-reflective metal paneling system that creates a hard shell exterior. The central axis is voided out to enable a safe passageway between the street and the park. It features drought-tolerant foliage and trees native to the Oakwood area to allow for low maintenance across all seasons.
