Bus stops are often overlooked despite them being vital components of our city. With public transportation users relying on these benches, they are currently not offered as much as they are needed in cities that have higher percentages of public transportation users. Inspired by six typologies found across Santa Monica Boulevard and pulling from the long history of programmatic architecture pieces across Los Angeles, these six bus stop designs can truly no longer be overlooked.
